This week we received a pumpkin from Morans Supervalu. We had so much fun decorating it. Mrs Whyte mixed PVA with brown paint and we painted our pumpkin brown. We got a box and painted it brown. Mrs Whyte took us to Chestnut Grove at the end of the Fishmongers' Trail. With our partner we gathered leaves, twigs and chestnut shells. When we got back we made a bed for the hedgehog. Mrs Whyte made holes in the shell and we put the twigs into the holes until we had covered the shell. It was so much fun. We added eyes and a pipe cleaner mouth. We called him Harry and were so pleased with how it turned out. It looks great on display in Supervalu!
