November News

30th Nov 2023

During November we were learning about ‘Autumn’ and ‘The Farm’. We enjoyed role play as the Greengrocer. We were shopping and weighing all the fruit and vegetables in our Nursery. We even made our own scones for snack.

We were driving the tractors and enjoyed travelling around the nursery pedalling the tractors. Using the wheelbarrows and rakes we helped to tidy away the leaves.  We were using the hobby horses outdoors as well and had lots of fun.

We did lots of printing during November at the easel and at our art table. We printed using real vegetables!

In our Quiet Room we like to play the Lotto Game with our friends. We are really good at playing this game and we take turns to be ‘The Caller’.

Louie’s Daddy came in to help us to plant our daffodil bulbs and we put them into the greenhouse. We are taking turns to water all of our plants and flowers while we are playing outside. During windy days outside we had lots of fun with our kites and the parachute.

We are enjoying having our dinner each day with our friends. We take turns to be the Dinner Helper and serve the food to our friends in nursery. We love wearing the special Dinner Helper apron and carrying the plates. On Fridays we go to the Canteen and have our dinner and packed lunch in the main school.

Jo Jingles classes started as well. We were playing drums, maracas and claves. Each week we sang different songs and have lots of fun. We love learning lots of new songs with Stephanie and Jo.

We are working hard to develop our Fine Motor Skills and we have games and activities each week. We do these at home with our families.

On Monday 13th November we wore odd socks to nursery as part of Anti-Bullying week. We made a recording with the staff to show off our socks.
