The pupils have settled extremely well into their new school year and are working really hard. Primary 1 have been working on sorting and pattern work as well as learning how to write numbers and sounds. Primary 2 have started their guided reading sessions, keyword games and word building using phonics. They are focussing on data handling this month and can present data on a Venn and Carroll diagram as well as pictograph and block graph.
We have already been on our first Shared Education trip to the Roe Valley Country Park with Faughanvale Primary School where we explored the woodland and discovered different wildlife, plants and trees with our friends. It was a great day and we are looking forward to a fun-filled, busy year ahead with lots of other exciting opportunities ahead.
