P4GMG Autumn Term 2020
Well, it has certainly been a different term in P4GM with lots of hand washing, sanitising and staying in our bubbles. However, we have worked hard and stayed as safe as possible through the Autumn months. We have continued to develop our online learning skills by using the Seesaw app, Purple Mash and Mathletics. Our teachers can now set learning tasks to be completed digitally at home.
It was great to get back to reading in groups, writing in books and solving maths problems in pairs in our classroom again. Great work was placed on our Wow board for everyone to see. Our Classroom Assistant Mrs Powell is very artistic and created some great wall displays outside our class to show off our talented artwork.
We’ve had some healthy Autumn walks through our picturesque forest trail in our nature study investigations. We even walked outside in our Halloween costumes!
P4 have read lots, asked questions and found answers in our comprehensions during our literacy time. We added, subtracted, multiplied and problem solved in our daily maths activities. Our money topic is our focus coming up to Christmas which is useful for all us so we can learn the importance of either saving or spending correctly.
It’s been a different term but a busy term. We all can’t wait for the next one to begin. From all of us in P4 we wish you a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
