P7GC have settled back into school really well, particularly considering these such uncertain times we find ourselves in. They have been working very hard in class, particularly when it comes to their Maths and English, but thankfully there have been plenty of opportunities for Art and the World Around Us in the afternoons too.
Another popular way of spending the afternoons is through exploring and playing in the woodland trail. The children have loved getting out for a game of hide and seek or team tag - and fortunately, the weather has very much been in or favour so far too!
Over the last couple of months, children have had the opportunity to take part in a Healthy Heads programme, which focuses on the well-being of children, something which has proved to be very worthwhile and informative.
Also, on Friday mornings, Ronan (from the IFA) has been coming in to take the children for some physical games and activities. The children thoroughly enjoy their session with Ronan and look forward to it every week!
