P3TB have made a fantastic start to the year. They have been working hard all term and have finished the term off with a fantastic performance in the school Christmas play.
In their numeracy work they have been working hard to learn how to do addition and subtraction in columns. They have worked especially hard to try and recognise the tens and the units and are making great progress in this.
In the children's literacy work they have been writing recounts about different days out and adventures they've been on in recent weeks and months.
For their topic work the children have been learning about different people from history. They especially enjoyed learning about Florence Nightingale and the hard work she put in to help create nursing standards as we know them to be today.
The children have a great day out to the cinema in December to watch Lego Movie 2, which they loved.
And finally they were all angels when it came to our school Christmas show... Literally angels! They worked so hard to learn their lines and songs and did a fantastic job pulling the show together as they went to visit different 'countries' to find other children from around the world.
We'll be back working hard in January.
