Primary 6 have had many adventures over the first term. We took part in the Orienteering challenge at Limavady Grammar school, we were also visited by a cricket coach from the North West Warriors and we have been completing daily exercise videos using our new Active Panel board.
In our literacy we revised the basic grammar concepts and wrote excellent instructions and have been enjoying the narrative aspect of writing. For numeracy we enjoyed looking at shapes, exploring aspects of time and diving into our fraction work.
We particularly enjoyed our Location topic were we have examined our local area and beyond. This involved looking at local businesses and we went on an enjoyable trip to the DERA building. We were also visited by the police as part of our anti bullying week and we learnt lots about the problems of cyber bullying.
