In Ballykelly Nursery Unit we are delighted to welcome Addyson, Amelia, Ayden, Dylan, Elliott, Emily O’C, Emily C, Emilie, Erin, Harley, Isaac, Isla, Jackson, Jessica, Josh, Lottie, Lucas, Niall, Noah, Olivia, Penelope, Piper, PJ, Ryley, Sandee, Sarah, Sienna and Travis. We are all having great fun!
This month we have been very busy playing in the Home Corner, the Construction Area, Playdough Table, Writing Table, Small World play area, sand and water trays, painting easel and reading stories in the Quiet Room. We are also enjoying playing the musical instruments in the Quiet Room, especially the guitar!
We enjoy playing games with our teacher and this month we are matching socks. We are learning to take turns with our friends and we can match all the different colours of socks.
During the lovely spell of weather, we have been outside a lot! We were busy digging in the Sand House, climbing, travelling on the wheeled vehicles, balancing, drawing, exploring along the paths and having fun in Rainbow Cottage.
We went for a walk around the school grounds. We walked with a partner and we held their hand as we walked along. We saw the greenhouse, the main school building and lots of trees.
Such a busy start to our nursery year!
