P1 KC have made an excellent start to Primary 1. We have all settled in well and have made lots of new friends. We have been working very hard and are now able to write lots of sounds and numbers. We can also write our own names without looking at our name tags! Mrs Cromie is very impressed with how well we are doing. Our main theme this term was ‘Home Sweet Home’. We learned lots about different types of homes and had great fun planning, designing and building different homes during play. We even used playdough as cement to make our building stronger. We also talked a little bit about animal homes and homes from the past.
As well as this we put a lot of hard work into learning our lines and songs for our Christmas Play. Our scene was all about snowflakes and robins. Our Mummies and Daddies were so proud of us and so was Mrs Cromie!
It has been a busy term and we are all excited for Christmas – we are ready for some rest and most importantly, ready to see what Santa brings.
