Hello to everyone from a very busy P4! It was great to see so many new faces ready to learn lots of new things in September. We have been busy practising our recount writing and have attempted joined up letters to make our work all 'grown up'. We continued on with our adding and taking away and moved on to multiplication tables.
We had great fun learning all about the British Isles, continents and oceans from all around the world, as part of our World Around Us topic.
We've had great fun making art pieces this year from Halloween lanterns to Christmas pomanders. Room 8 always looked and smelt great.
We've had our turn displaying work outside the I.C.T. suite and we had a really fun assembly, acting out 'The Water Pump' in front of our parents. As Christmas approached, we gave our best performance as children from Australia in our KS1 play 'Children of the World'! The night performance was fantastic!
During the term, we have had some great new Golden Time treats. We have visited Tommy's and Hunters and played 'hide 'n' seek in our very own forest!
Who knows what we'll do next term? However, we'll have fun and learn lots!
