Term 2 Review

18th Apr 2019

This term our two very colourful topics were ‘Over the Rainbow’ and ‘Food.’ We are able to name all the colours of the rainbow in the correct order as well as tell you which two colours to mix together to make a new colour. We were painting rainbows, singing about rainbows and reading stories about rainbows as well.

During our food topic, we got to eat chocolate, fruit, scrambled eggs and toast. We were able to sort fruits and vegetables and explain where our food comes from before it can be bought in a shop. We also talked about our favourite meals, sandwich fillings and treats. Our class are all very healthy, only eating treats and snacks sometimes.

Although we were very busy, we made time to go out and enjoy the different weather we’ve had this term. We were finding polar bears that had been camouflaged in the snow. We had great fun throwing snowballs, making footprints in the snow and touching and feeling the ice that had formed in our water tray. We’ve also been out searching for signs of Spring and using these ideas as well as natural materials to produce our display.

Once again we thank you all for your continued support. Enjoy the Easter break. See you all again on the 29th April.
