Where has this term gone? We can’t believe that it’s Easter already! We have been so busy in P1! We have been working very hard on our reading and we are making excellent progress. We have also been attempting to build words using all the sounds we already know. We have been learning about money and had fun using money to buy food in our role play ‘Zoo Café’.
Our theme was ‘Animal Crackers’. We learned all about different animals and their habitats. We had great fun building our very own zoo and even became real scientists as we explored which materials were waterproof and would make the best roof for our zoo.
We have enjoyed the GROW programme delivered by the ‘Dry Arch’ centre and now know different techniques to help us when we have ‘tricky’ feelings to deal with. As well as this, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the cinema as part of the ‘Foyle film Festival’. It was a real wee treat!
