We have all been very busy in P3/4CL!
We completed our topic “Evacuees in World War 2”. We had a special visit from Mrs Cunningham who is 102! We created information ebooks using the ipads as well as some amazing WW2 art. We ended the topic with an Evacuee themed day where we all dressed up.
In our forest area we loved working together to build dens and we enjoyed showing off our skills to the Fishmongers when they flew over to visit.
In Numeracy we have been learning all about measuring and we have been using metre sticks, rulers, balance scales and measuring jugs in our practical activities.
In Literacy we wrote amazing stories and read them to our little friends in other classes.
P3s took part in the Paired Reading programme and we read great books from the library. There was a brilliant selection of books to buy at the book fair too. P4s took part in Parental Involvement in Numeracy games and enjoyed a different game to play at home each week. We had a special games afternoon along with our P4 parents.
We enjoyed racing on our Sports Day and are looking forward to our trip to Gortnahey Play park!
Miss Lockington and Michelle have promised us a party in June because we have all worked very hard this year! We are all looking forward to our summer holidays soon!
