Our World Around Us topic this term was called Here comes the sun. We loved finding out about how and why we have day and night, the importance of the sun, sun safety, light and dark and how shadows are formed. It was really interesting. We also learned about seasonal changes and how to say the 4 seasons in Spanish.
Chris Neill came to tell us about different types of fruit trees and how to grow plants and vegetables. He helped us plant fruit trees. We are going to look after them by doing some weeding and making sure they get enough water.
World Book Day was really fun as we all dressed up as a character from a book. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s costumes.
Our trip this year was to Gortnaghey play park. This was a fab day and we had super fun. We could choose to have an ice-cream or a slushie.
We have had a fantastic year in P3 and are looking forward to our Summer holidays and starting P4. After such a busy term P3 agree it’s time for a holiday. Enjoy the summer from everyone in P3JB.
