We made scones!

The nursery children had a wonderful time making scones. First, they carefully weighed out the ingredients, using scales to measure the flour, sugar and buttermilk. They then mixed everything together in a big bowl, feeling the texture change as they stirred. Some children enjoyed adding the eggs into the flour, while others added the buttermilk. They even got to shape their own scones, pressing them into little rounds ready for the oven. The room filled with excitement as the children waited for the delicious smell of freshly baked scones!
