Ballykelly Primary School, Ballykelly, Limavady

Dear Parents / Guardians

At Ballykelly Primary School and Nursery Unit we welcome children of all races, faiths and backgrounds to a warm and welcoming atmosphere where mutual respect and acceptance underpin the school’s caring ethos.

The school is fully resourced and set in spacious grounds with our very own woodland trail! This makes learning outdoors as much fun as learning indoors.

Staff aim to educate pupils to their full potential within a broad & balanced curriculum and are deeply committed to providing our children with the highest standard of teaching & learning.

We pride ourselves in being a school in the heart of the community and work in partnership with parents and local community groups to ensure we provide the best education our children deserve.

Our Open Door policy encourages parents to come and meet with the Principal and staff at mutually convenient times to discuss your child’s attainment and welfare.

Our Breakfast Club is open from 8am giving children a healthy start to their day and facilitating parents who need to drop off their children early.

The school offers a number of innovative and exciting after school activities appealing to all age groups and catering for a wide range of interests. With our own mini-bus we can provide transport to and from school to Walworth, Foyle Drive and surrounding areas.

We have recently linked with Little Jewels Day Care in Ballykelly to offer a ‘wrap around’ provision for those families who need high quality child care in the area and we can provide transport to this Day Care after the Nursery and School day finishes.

We hope you enjoy our website and find it helpful and informative.
