Wow! What a busy term we have had in P1. We came back after our Christmas holidays and were learning all about Winter and then to our surprise we had a beautiful flurry of snow during our Musical Pathways lesson with Ms Una - how exciting. After our mid-term break we began our new topic of 'All About Food' and we were looking at the book 'Handa's Surprise'. The children loved to sequence pictures to retell the story, match the correct animal to each fruit from the story and then the best part was getting to sample the delicious fruits. Yum yum! We took a walk down to our pond recently and we were so excited to find lots of frogspawn and even some tadpoles. We can't wait to see if we can spot any little frogs in a few weeks.
